Y6 trip to the Army Museum
On Thursday 23rd May, Mrs. Ryan, Mrs. Qutab and Mr. Kemp took the Year 6 class to the National Army Museum in Chelsea as part of their history and computing learning.
The children took part in the "Robots to the Rescue" workshop where they were challenged to guide robots around a course to solve a problem (such as mine detection and bomb disposal). They put their computing and block-coding skills to use.
(Thanks to Mr. Holness' computing lessons, the children were expert at this task.)
As you can see, they really had a fun hands-on day and also enjoyed dressing up too (you're never too old!).
