Christ Church Euro 2024 Ball Bail Out

To celebrate the EUFA Euros 2024 which are currently underway (sorry Scotland...) Christ Church's own sqaud manager, Mr. Holness, is hosting the

Christ Church EURO 2024 Ball Bail Out competition.

This will be run on Thursday and Friday lunchtimes, starting on Thursday 20th June and will be a knockout competition, just like the real Euros.

Match fixtures can be seen in the poster below (a copy is on the noticeboard outside the school office).

Keep looking out for updates as the matches progress... how close to the Euros will the results be? (Will Scotland be going home early as usual?)

Semi Finals news

The line-up for the Semi finals was:

Austria v Romania

and

Portugal v Serbia

The winners of these matches and so, our finalists were Romania and Serbia

Well done to all teams for taking part so well.

The Big Final

After a scintillating semi-finals, Romania and Serbia went head to head in what many were referring to as the 'clash of the titans'.

It was neck and neck all the way to end with the final score 11 - 9 and Serbia winning by a single ball.

Commiserations to a very good Romania team, but congratulations to Imad, Santiago, Zinarym, Michael, Bradley, Allen and team captain Sariya - team Serbia.
