Carols at St. Anne's 2024
On 10th December Years 1 - 6 walked around to St. Anne's Church on Salusbury Road for our annual Christmas Carols service.
We sang the carols:
- Joy to the World
- Once in Royal David's City
- Silent Night
- The first noel
- O come all ye faithful
- Away in a manger
- Ding, dong, merrily on high
and we heard the story of the birth of Jesus, told to us in parts by children from Years 2 - 6.
As usual, our children sang and read very well.
Mother Christine read us her favourite Christmas story about a Wombat who took part in a nativity play at his school!
Unfortunately, this was our last service with Mother Christine. At the end of the Carol Service the children wished her a very warm goodbye by singing a song they had written to the tune of Hallelujah.
Goodbye Mother Christine, we will miss you very much!
